In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Steve Bull, who is a Wolverhampton Wanderers Hall of Famer, believes it will require a stupid amount of money for Pedro Neto to be sold this summer.

The Portuguese international has been linked with a £50 million move to Manchester United this summer after his stand out performances this campaign for Wolves, as he is their joint-top scorer.

Neto is still only experiencing his second season in the Premier League and he’s been able to achieve a 7.13 WhoScored rating, all without Raul Jimenez to tuck away his numerous chances created.

Speaking on how much would be required for Wolves to sell Neto this summer and how good of a player he is, Bull told FFC:

“He’s an absolutely world-class player but money talks. I think if anybody comes in with a stupid amount of money, pays his five-year wages off and gives the club the money they are asking for, then fair play to them.

“As I said, it would be about £75-80 million and that is some money for a player, but he is a talented player. I wouldn’t say he’s not worth that much but I also wouldn’t say he is worth that much. 

It has also been reported that Bruno Fernandes will try to convince Pedro Neto to join Manchester United this summer during their time away with Portugal.

Wolves have an abundance of attacking options, however, they all rely on a striker being in the box to finish their chances off, which neither Fabio Silva nor Willian Jose have been able to do in general.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, former Premier League midfielder Carlton Palmer has lauded Liverpool’s sale of Philippe Coutinho.

The Reds sold the Brazilian to Barcelona back in 2018 in an astonishing £140m+ deal; however, things have not quite worked out for him there and reports are now suggesting that he could be sold in the summer for as little as £35m.

It shows just how much Coutinho’s stock has fallen over the last couple of seasons and how well Liverpool did to get the sort of money they received from Barcelona.

Discussing that particular bit of business done by FSG, Michael Edwards and Liverpool during the 2018 January transfer window, Palmer told FFC:

“I thought it was brilliant business, I thought it was brilliant business. I know he’s always wanted to go to Barcelona, but I thought for him it was the wrong move. He got his contract at Liverpool, he was playing unbelievable at Liverpool.

“They gave him a new contract, he would’ve [continued to] fit in the way [Jurgen] Klopp plays, you know, and he’s pushed the move through to go. Listen, don’t get me wrong, I’m sure he’s a multimillionaire out of it. But these are the things that happen sometimes when you don’t think about the things you do. And he’s gone backwards and Liverpool have progressed.”

If Coutinho’s future does truly lie away from the Nou Camp, which looks to be the case, it would not be a shock to see the 28-year-old return to the Premier League. According to Sky Sports, Chelsea were offered the chance to sign him ahead of last summer’s transfer window.

والتقى الأهلي مع البنك الأهلي في المباراة التي انتهت بالتعادل الإيجابي بهدف لمثله.

وفي نفس الجولة فاز بيراميدز على مصر للمقاصة بهدفين دون رد في اللقاء الذي أقيم على استاد الدفاع الجوي.

بينما تعرض المصري للهزيمة أمام إيسترن كومباني بهدفين مقابل هدف.

ويتواجد بيراميدز ومصر المقاصة في المجموعة الأولى التي تضم المصري وإيسترن كومباني وفيوتشر والاتحاد السكندري.

تحدث نجم الكاميرون السابق جيريمي نجيتاب عن مواجهة الأسود أمام منتخب مصر المقرر لها مساء غدٍ في نصف نهائي بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا 2021.

Brighton & Hove Albion have joined the race for Celtic managerial target Eddie Howe.

That’s according to a report from Football Insider, who have been informed from a Seagulls source that current manager Graham Potter’s position at the Amex is under scrutiny.

Therefore, Albion are keeping tabs on Howe, who has also spoken to Crystal Palace ahead of potentially replacing Roy Hodgson.

Celtic’s Howe hopes have diminished

The report adds that the Hoops, who reached a verbal agreement with Howe, have seen their hopes of appointing the 43-year-old diminished considerably over the last seven days.

Howe’s representative admitted that the former Bournemouth boss doesn’t plan to return to the dugout until the summer, and it seems as if the race for his services is now heating up.

To us, Celtic now have to be proactive in their hunt for Neil Lennon’s replacement, with so many sides looking at Howe.

Should they put all their eggs in Howe’s basket and miss out on his signature, they could be back at square one ahead of a crucial 2021/22 campaign.

Reports have suggested that the club have made contact with former Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre following Howe’s summer plans, implying they are indeed taking active measures to avoid a meltdown if they lose out on Howe.

Celtic previously offered Lennon the managerial role on a full-time basis in the shower, so at least the club are taking a more professional approach this time around, as they could have handed the job to interim boss John Kennedy by now, as he is still unbeaten in temporary charge.

Mancuello admitiu que o grupo está sentindo a dor da eliminação. Porém, o argentino deixou claro que os jogadores precisam se recompor rapidamente para reagir já neste sábado, contra o São Paulo, pelo Brasileirão.
