يستهدف نادي تشيلسي التعاقد مع مدافع جديد في موسم الانتقالات الصيفي المقبل، حسبما أفادت تقارير صحفية إسبانية.

ويسعى المدير الفني لفريق تشيلسي توماس توخيل إلى الحصول على خدمات مدافع جديد، منذ الصيف الماضي، وهو الآن عينه على هدف جديد.

وحسب صحيفة “آس” الإسبانية، فإن تشيلسي يرغب في الظفر بخدمات اللاعب إيدير ميليتاو من صفوف فريق ريال مدريد.

وكان ميليتاو متواجدًا على رادار تشيلسي في عام 2019، قبل أن ينتقل إلى ريال مدريد بدلًا من ستامفورد بريدج آنذاك.

وأفادت أن تشيلسي الآن يمكنه التحرك من جديد في محاولة لضم صاحب الـ24 عامًا، وسط غموض مستقبل ثنائي الدفاع أنطونيو روديجر وأندرياس كريستنسن مع بطل أروبا.

وستنتهي العقود الحالية للاعبين المذكورين مع تشيلسي نهاية الموسم الحالي، دون وجود لأي اتفاق حول التجديد.

يراقب بوروسيا دورتموند كريستنسن بينما روديجر مطلوب من يوفنتوس وبايرن ميونخ وباريس سان جيرمان.

وبعدما فشل تشيلسي في السابق في التعاقد مع قلب دفاع إشبيلية، جول كوندي، فإن إدارة النادي اللندني ستركز الآن على ميليتاو.

لكنهم قد يواجهون صعوبة مماثلة في محاولة التوقيع مع البرازيلي لأنه يقال إنه يريد البقاء مع اللوس بلانكوس.

ويُعد ميليتاو كذلك جزءًا مهمًا من خطط كارلو أنشيلوتي، حيث لعب معظم الدقائق في الموسم الحالي، وأقل بست دقائق فقط من الحارس تيبو كورتوا.

ميليتاو هو أيضًا أغلى مدافع في تاريخ ريال مدريد، وبوجود عقد حتى عام 2025، سيكون العمالقة الإسبان قادرين على المطالبة بأجر كبير للسماح له بالرحيل.

هذا يعني أن تشيلسي قد يضطر إلى تتبع أهداف أخرى مثل لاعب بايرن ميونخ نيكلاس زوله المرتبط غالبًا بالانتقال إلى البلوز.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, Frank McAvennie has slammed Celtic for their poor defence of the Scottish Premiership title, ahead of their cup meeting with champions Rangers this weekend.

Following their incredible dominance of Scottish football in recent years, the Hoops were bidding for an unprecedented 10 league titles on the bounce.

However, Celtic haven’t topped the table since their opening day victory over Hamilton and and should their poor form continue in their final four matches, they could fail to reach 80 points for the first time in eight seasons.

Celtic’s struggles meant that Rangers were confirmed as champions in early-March with six games still remaining,

“They’ve not kicked a ball this season,” McAvennie told Football FanCast.

“Before anyone jumps on me, I’m not taking anything away from Rangers because the best team wins the league, but I would have liked Celtic to give them a better challenge.

“For me they’ve given it to Rangers, and that’s not taking anything away from Rangers because they’re unbeaten and have been magnificent.”

But whilst it’s been a season to forget for Celtic, coupled in with the departure of club legend Neil Lennon, McAvennie knows that two victories at Ibrox in the next fortnight could salvage some pride.

He added:

“Going to Ibrox on Sunday and beating them at home would be tremendous – knocking them out of the cup.

“It would be great if they could go there and take the invincible away from Rangers, too. The invincible will have been spoken about a lot this year. Knock them out of the cup, but take the invincible away from them.”

وأضاف: “التدريبات بعد مباراة برينتفورد لم تكن جيدة بالنسبة له، نحن نجري اختبارًا”.

وواصل المدرب الإسباني تصريحاته: “لم يكن جاهزًا لمباراة اليوم، آمل أن يكون جاهزًا ليوم الثلاثاء ضد لشبونة”.

Many Everton fans have been left to bemoan an injury update on Blackburn Rovers loanee Jarrad Branthwaite.

As per the official website of the EFL Championship club, manager Tony Mowbray thinks that his season is over following an injury to his ankle that he picked up while in training.

The central defender will likely now return to the Goodison Park faithful in order to start his recovery, in what is a big blow not just to the Rovers but the Merseyside club as well.

Carlo Ancelotti would have liked Branthwaite to develop out on loan this campaign so that he could be part of his plans for the 2021/22 term, but this season-ending injury that the 18-year-old has picked up will stop any further progress that he may have made.

– عام 2013 تعادل الزمالك في أول مباراة من دور المجموعات مع الأهلي بنتيجة (1 – 1)، ولم يتأهل الفريق لدور ربع النهائي بعد احتلاله المركز الثالث.

– وتعثر الزمالك في أول مباراة خلال نسخة 2014، بعد أن خسر من فيتا كلوب الكونغولي بنتيجة (2 – 1) على ملعب الأخير، واحتل المركز الرابع في مجموعته وبالطبع خرج من البطولة.

– في نسخة 2020 خسر الزمالك في أول مباراة أمام مازيمبي الكونغولي بنتيجة ثقيلة (3 – 0)، ولكن هذه المرة تأهل الفارس الأبيض إلى المباراة النهائية أمام الأهلي (نهائي القرن) وخسر (2 – 1).

– وتعادل الزمالك مع مولودية الجزائر في أول مواجهة عام 2021 بدون أهداف، وخرج الفارس الأبيض من دور المجموعات ولم يستكمل مشواره في البطولة.

Southampton have been handed a potential boost in their hopes of signing Swedish midfielder Matthias Svanberg from Bologna this summer, as recent reports have suggested that the Serie A side will have to sell their top talents due to financial difficulties.

Bologna manager Sinisa Mihajlovic recently admitted that the Italian side will have to cash in on some players this summer when asked about their transfer strategies, saying:

“We have to sell by force of circumstances, then we’ll see who: it depends on the market, not on us.”

Southampton, Leicester City and AC Milan have all been linked with Svanberg since January, with rumours re-emerging as we approach the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has established himself as a regular with I Rossoblù since joining from Malmo in 2018, as he has now made 82 appearances for the Serie A side, contributing six goals and five assists.

This season has been something of a breakthrough for the midfielder in terms of attacking returns, as he has managed five goals and two assists in 30 league appearances, so it is easy to see why he is attracting interest from the Saints.

Svanberg, who is currently rated at £8.1m by Transfermarkt, would seemingly fit in well with Ralph Hasenhuttl’s transfer policy at Southampton this summer, with the Austrian suggesting recently that the South Coast club will almost exclusively target players who will cost £10m or less this summer.

Given that the Swedish international has featured in a number of positions in his career thus far, you could certainly argue that his versatility would be a big boost for the Saints next season if he were to make the move to St Mary’s, as their lack of depth, particularly in central-midfield, has certainly been exposed at times this season.

O meia Diego, um dos destaques da boa campanha do Flamengo no ano, concedeu entrevista coletivana manhã desta quarta-feira, no Ninho do Urubu, e exaltou a temporada feita com seus companheiros. Segundo o jogador, poucos acreditavam nas chances de título e há quatro rodadas do fim, ainda restam chances matemáticas.

-Eu não consigo ver outra alternativa a não ser continuar jogando para vencer e acreditando. Nada tira da minha cabeça que a temporada vai ser positiva, independente do resultado. Quando eu cheguei aqui, pouquíssima gente falava em título. As coisas foram acontecendo e reviveu esse sonho de ser campeão. Nós sabemos a dificuldade que é o Brasileiro. Estamos há quatro rodadas com chances de título. Tudo isso faz com que a gente se sinta orgulhoso com o que está acontecendo – afirmou o meia.

Former Premier League striker Kevin Phillips says it will be a “big boost” if Leeds United don’t have to fork out for Jean-Kevin Augustin this summer.

The Whites will be hoping to build on an excellent season back in the Premier League in the summer transfer window and having the funds available to make the required additions will be vital for Marcelo Bielsa.

Augustin could yet play a pivotal role in that respect. Leeds signed the RB Leipzig forward on loan back in January 2020 and had an option to sign him permanently at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

He flopped at Elland Road, however, making just three appearances, but Leipzig claimed that the Whites’ failure to earn promotion to the top flight by June 30 meant they had an obligation to buy for £17.7m.

Phillips hopeful over Augustin saga

Speaking to Football Insider, Phillips gave his thoughts on the saga, discussing the importance of Leeds not having to pay for Augustin. He said:

“It would be a big boost if they do not have to fork out for that because they can use that money somewhere else.

“They can use it to strengthen in key areas this summer with a striker one of the main things I think they need. I think it is something they will be looking at.

“If they can avoid paying that £15million or so it could go a long way to helping them pursue their summer targets.

“It did not work out with Augustin so let’s hope they do not have to pay it. It would be a big boost for the club.”

Transfer Tavern take

It certainly appears as though Leeds are in a strong position as per a recent update from Beren Cross, but it would be a setback if they have to eat into their summer transfer budget by stumping up the aforementioned fee for Augustin.

Bielsa no doubt has his eyes on potential reinforcements this summer, but having to suddenly find the money to pay for the 23-year-old could seriously hamper the club’s progress.

It looks like that might not happen, though, so Leeds should instead be able to focus on signing individuals they believe will take them up another level.
