Liverpool are ‘very interested’ in the possibility of signing Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe.

That’s according to RMC Sport correspondent Mohamed Bouhafsi, who named Anfield and the Santiago Bernabeu as the two possible destinations for Mbappe were he to leave the French capital.

But Mbappe may have dropped a slight hint that his immediate future lies with PSG.

وجه مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك برئاسة مرتضى منصور، الدعوة إلى البعثة الإدارية لفريق الوداد المغربي لزيارة مقر القلعة البيضاء.

ويلتقي الزمالك مع الوداد يوم الجمعة المقبل على استاد القاهرة الدولي، ضمن منافسات الجولة الرابعة بدور المجموعات لدوري أبطال إفريقيا.‎

ووصلت بعثة الوداد إلى القاهرة عصر اليوم الأربعاء على متن طائرة خاصة، وكان في استقبال الفريق المغربي باسم زيادة مسئول العلاقات العامة بالنادي، لإنهاء كل الإجراءات الخاصة بالفريق المغربي في مطار القاهرة.

Given that he has only come in on an interim basis until the end of the season, and has had no prior managerial experience before he got the job in North London, it is highly unlikely that Ryan Mason will become the permanent manager.

As per The Athletic, THFC have drawn up a four-man managerial shortlist that includes Ralf Rangnick, Graham Potter, Roberto Martinez and Erik Ten Hag.

Interestingly, Rangnick was reportedly interested in succeeding Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham back in 2019, while the other three names will be very familiar to the Spurs faithful.

Potter is currently the manager at Brighton and Hove Albion, while Martinez has also managed in English football with Swansea City, Wigan Athletic and Everton.

Ten Hag is the Ajax boss that the North London club famously beat in the UEFA Champions League semi-final to set themselves up for a final against Liverpool back in the 2018/2019 campaign.

The Verdict: Premier League experience may be key

While all of the managers listed above certainly each have their own individual merits, one cannot underestimate the experience of managing in the top flight.

That would cut that shortlist down to either Potter or Martinez, the former unique for a team near the bottom of the league with his progressive style of play, while the latter has already achieved great things in England, most notably masterminding a 1-0 FA Cup final win with the Latics over Manchester City back in 2013.

Both would be inspired appointments, as the Lilywhites look to bounce back quickly from what has ultimately been a disappointing season.

Um dos sobreviventes do acidente aéreo envolvendo o avião da Chapecoense, ocorrido há duas semanas, desembarcou no Brasil. Na madrugada desta terça-feira, o goleiro Jackson Follmann chegou em São Paulo (SP) com alívio, de acordoMarcos Nagli, ortopedista da Chape.

– Ele não tinha expressão. A única coisa que eu vi foi que ele soltou o ar. Ele estava segurando na hora do pouso e, quando pousou, ele soltou um pouco o ar. Então, sem dúvida, uma sensação de alívio – disse Nagli.

Acompanhado da noiva, Follmann foi transportado de Medellín, próximo do local do acidente, em umaviãoequipado com uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI), que pousouno Aeroporto de Congonhas à 0h20 (de Brasília). Antes, a aeronave ainda fez uma escala em Manaus.

Aos 24 anos, Jackson Follmann teve parte da perna direita amputada, na Colômbia, e irá seguir seu tratamento no Hospital Albert Einstein, na Zona Sul da capital paulista. Ele aindadeve fazer uma cirurgia delicada para corrigir uma fratura na coluna cervical, em uma das vértebras.

Além do goleiro, há outros três sobreviventes brasileiros. Dois deles chegam na noite desta terça-feira no Brasil. Tratam-se do jornalista Rafael Renzel e do jogador Alan Ruschell, que pisarão, primeiramente, em solos catarinenses.

Com isso, só restará o retorno dozagueiro Neto, que ainda está internado na Colômbia. Ele ficou sabendo do acidente apenas na última segunda.

كشف مرتضى منصور رئيس مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك، عن رغبة أعضاء المجلس في تقديم الاستقالة، معربًا عن حزنه من هجوم جماهير الأهلي على الثنائي أحمد فتحي وشريف إكرامي موضحًا أنه طالب بضمهما للقلعة البيضاء لكنهما رفضا.

وقال منصور في تصريحات مصورة عبر قناته الرسمية بموقع “يوتيوب”: “أشكر جمهور الزمالك المحترم المؤدب الذي لا يخطأ في أحد، يوجد تواصل مع الدولة المصرية، ولن أحكي ما حدث لأنني لن أتعرض بالإساءة لدولتي، ودائمًا أنا سند لموؤسسات الدولة، وعلمت أنني سأحصل على حقي من الصغار والكبار، كرامتي من كرامة وكبرياء نادي الزمالك”.

وأضاف: “أعضاء مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك جاءوا لي اليوم ليبلغوني بتقديم استقالة جماعية، ولكني رفضت وأبلغتهم بأننا سنحصل على حقوقنا لأننا في دولة قانون، ولا يوجد خط أحمر إلا القانون، ولا أحد فوقه”.

وتابع: “لقد تعرضت للسباب في مباراة الأهلي وبيراميدز، كما هاجمت الجماهير شريف اكرامي نجل وحش إفريقيا، وأحمد فتحي الظهير الأيمن التاريخي للأهلي ورمضان صبحي أيضًا، أين مجلس إدارتهم وأين الكابتن الذي يلقب نفسه بالأسطورة، الأسطورة يكون في الأدب والأخلاق، وليس بالتدبير والتخطيط”.

واستكمل: “أنا حزين لما حدث مع أحمد فتحي، لأن الأخير كان قادمًا للزمالك، وفي اللحظة الأخيرة فضل الأهلي، وشريف إكرامي طالبت والده من 4 سنوات بضمه، وقال لي شريف الأهلي، كما بكيتم لعبدالله السعيد حتى يعود بعد توقيعه معنا، وبعد عودته بساعة أخبرتوه برحيله”.

واستطرد: “أطالب بدعم فريق الزمالك أمام الوداد، وسأتواجد في المباراة وسأعقد مؤتمرًا صحفيًا داخل النادي يوم السبت مع فيريرا، ومباراة الوداد عنق زجاجة، وسأقيم حفل عشاء لبعثة الوداد في منزلي”.

ووجه منصور رسالة لوزير الشباب والرياضة أشرف صبحي: “في مباراة الأهلي وبيراميدز حضر أكثر من 5000 مشجع، وهنا لدي سؤال، لماذا تسمحون بدخول عدد كبير لهذا النادي، وأندية أخرى تسمحون بدخول 300 فرد لا أكثر وتقوم بتعطيل تذكرتي، تمنحني 5000 تذكرة بينها 374 فردًا للوداد”.

واستأنف: “بعد اسبوع تنتظرنا مباراة مصر والسنغال، على نفس الملعب ونفس اللاعبين، وسيُسمح بحضور 60 أو 70 ألف، وللزمالك 5000 مشجع فقط”.

Football Insider pundit Danny Mills believes Aston Villa will look to sign Celtic midfielder David Turnbull before the European Championships begin.

The Lowdown: Villa readying Turnbull bid

According to The Scottish Sun, Villa have watched the Hoops star on several occasions this season.

Dean Smith has received glowing reports on the attacking midfielder, with Villa thought to be lining up a £7m bid as a result.

Turnbull was recently named as PFA Scotland’s Young Player of the Year and was also included in Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for this summer’s major tournament.

The Latest: Mills’ Turnbull claim

Talking to Football Insider regarding the links to Turnbull, Mills was asked if Villa will look to seal a deal before the tournament begins in three weeks’ time.

“Definitely. Good managers won’t buy players off the back of a good European Championships, or they shouldn’t do.

“It’s three or four good games, that’s all it is. You can be outstanding in two and average in two and everybody’s like ‘What a player’.”

Mills, 44, continued:

“Your targets should be identified by February because you’ve had six months to look at your players, you know what those players are like, you know what your weaknesses are and you know where to improve.

“Your scouts and scouting network should be doing that work all the way through that time. You should have an A, B and C target. Who they are and for what position.

“The best way is to just get it done. If you have to pay a little bit over the odds, just get it done.

“You don’t want to come back late to pre-season because of the Euros thinking ‘We haven’t signed a player. The player’s going to miss parts of pre-season, he’s not integrated.’

“Just go out and do it, that’s what Villa should be doing.”

The Verdict: Villa should look to tie up a deal

With Ross Barkley set to return to Chelsea at the end of the month and Jack Grealish linked with a move away from Villa Park, we’re with Mills in believing the club should look to wrap up a deal as soon as possible.

It seems as if Villa like what they see in Turnbull after watching him closely, and they know just how good an all-action Scottish midfielder can be with the acquisition of John McGinn in 2018.

Turnbull, who Neil Lennon described as ‘class act’ back in December, completed more key passes than any player in the Scottish Premiership (80), as per WhoScored, the same amount as Grealish has in the Premier League.

Should he impress for Scotland at the Euros, you’d expect his price tag to rocket, so Villa could be smart in looking to tie up a transfer before then, although it could be a big ask with the time frame and the player more than likely fully focused on representing his country.
