ومن المقرر أن يترك رالف رانجنيك، منصبه الحالي كمدرب للشياطين الحمر، نهاية الموسم الجاري حيث سيتولى منصبًا إداريًا.

وارتبط أكثر من اسم بنادي مانشستر يونايتد، مثل إريك تين هاج، لويس إنريكي وماوريسيو بوتشيتينو.

وذكرت تقارير صحفية في اليومين الماضيين أن إريك تين هاج هو الأقرب لتولى مسؤولية تدريب مانشستر يونايتد بداية من الموسم المقبل.

وعندما سُئل عن ذلك، قال تين هاج في تصريحات نشرها الصحفي فابريزيو رومانو: “أريد التحدث عن مباراة اليوم، أنا لا أتفاعل مع الشائعات”.

وأضاف تين هاج في تصريحاته: “أسئلة حول المباراة أو أنني سأذهب إلى الداخل”.

وأضاف: “مباراة الإياب ستكون صعبة، كان يجب أن نحسم النتيجة من هنا، أنا مؤمن بفريقي وفزنا قبل ذلك في المغرب، ولسوء حظنا أهدرنا الكثير من الفرص وهناك أمور سأتحدث فيها مع اللاعبين ولن أستطيع الحديث مع الإعلام عنها”.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu.

What’s the story?

According to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, the Red Devils have identified the 25-year-old as a potential partner for Harry Maguire in the heart of their defence.

A new centre-back is thought to be high up on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s wish list for the current window, and Soyuncu is the latest name to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.

The trio of Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe have failed to prove their long-term suitability at centre-half in recent years, leading to the club prioritising the position this summer.

Real Madrid reportedly turned down a £50m offer for Raphael Varane recently, while Villarreal’s Pau Torres is another candidate on Solskjaer’s wish list.

While Soyuncu may not carry as much excitement or intrigue as the Spanish-based pair, the Leicester man has Premier League experience and may be viewed as a safer option by the United hierarchy.

In his three-year spell at the King Power Stadium, the Turkey international has been in impressive form, helping the club to consecutive fifth-place finishes and last season’s FA Cup triumph.

Soyuncu’s standout displays have attracted many plaudits, including some from his current manager Brendan Rodgers.

“He has been absolutely fantastic, and he is only going to get better with experience,” said the Northern Irish tactician. “He will go to Old Trafford. He will go to Anfield. He is not frightened of anything.

“He is quick; he is aggressive. He can defend first and foremost. He has absolutely no qualms whatsoever of just smashing the ball over the stand. He wants to defend.

“But he can play football, and that’s important if you want to be a top team. You have to be able to defend, but you have to be able to play, and he can do that.”

The last time United signed a central defender from the Foxes, things turned out pretty well. Maguire quickly established himself as the club’s key figure at the back and was made captain after less than a year with the 20-time English champions.

If departing chief executive Ed Woodward can secure a reasonable price for the £40.5m-rated Soyuncu, there’s no reason why he can’t follow in Maguire’s footsteps and take United to the next level.

Os jogadores estão assimilando, não está 100% ainda, mas a vontade em acertar é grande. Torcemos para que ele tenha sucesso e conquiste títulos. Não é só o jogador, o técnico também não quer passar por passar. Quer marcar, ser campeão, e o Eduardo está com fome de títulos, e ser campeão no Palmeiras é diferente. Então, tomara que ele possa ter êxito como outros treinadores tiveram aqui – elogiou o zagueiro.

Desde o início de trabalho, Eduardo Baptista tem implementado o seu esquema de preferência, o 4-1-4-1. Para o camisa 3, não há tanta dificuldade na adaptação, pois no Corinthians, com Tite, a formatação era semelhante. A mudança, na verdade, é em relação a Cuca. O atual comandante e o antecessor adotam estilos diferentes de marcação.

-Temos a nossa linha ali, que no ano passado muito acompanhava os jogadores, às vezes mano a mano, abria um espaço ou outro e o outro (jogador) já tinha de cobrir. Hoje, não. É a linha de quatro, vai caindo para o lado, o jogador vai marcando. Caiu na direita, eu marco. Saiu mais para o lado, o Jean marca. Antigamente acompanhava até o fim. Hoje fica mais posicionado e conversa mais com o companheiro. Estamos falando mais nos jogos e treinos para pegar a forma de jogar o mais rápido possível – completou.

O que esperar do time neste primeiro jogo?
O que pode esperar é muita vontade. Ainda não é nosso ideal, mas a vontade de acertar e a vontade de assimilar mais rápido o que o Eduardo vem pedindo não falta. E começar vencendo, que é importante para começar com confiança. E depois do sexto, sétimo jogo começa a Libertadores, para entrarmos bem prontos para um campeonato tão difícil.

Quais diferenças do time que começou 2016 também com expectativa e este?
Eu vejo que depois de uma temporada boa, como a que fizemos em 2016, campeões brasileiros, lógico que a expectativa é grande. Chegaram bons jogadores, de seleção, e mantiveram a maioria dos atletas. Saiu só o Gabriel (Jesus), mas chegaram vários outros. A confiança e a credibilidade aumentam, e estamos preparados para encarar de frente esta responsabilidade. São jogadores experientes, vitoriosos, e tomara que a gente possa dar alegria ao nosso torcedor, que é o mais importante, como fizemos no último ano.

Você fez um trabalho físico específico neste começo de ano. Como está hoje?
Estou me sentindo muito bem. Os médicos até falaram que eu cheguei melhor do que no ano passado. O mais importante é o trabalho que fizemos individual. Não fiz às vezes um trabalho com um garoto de 22, 23 anos, até porque acho que temos de fazer um trabalho visando não só o Paulista, mas o ano todo. Estou muito feliz, me sentindo bem, na parte física e técnica. Claro que falta o ritmo de jogo, mas estou bem confiante e à disposição para ajudar ao Palmeiras quando precisar.

Falam que a dupla de zaga titular é Mina e Vitor Hugo, mas quem começa jogando o Paulista é você. Mostra a importância do grupo?
Muito se fala de grupo forte, que precisa de elenco para ser campeão, e o Palmeiras mostrou isso no ano passado. E se espelham na Europa. Lá não tem titular ou reserva. Roda muita o elenco, e aqui no Brasil está se fazendo isso. É um grupo, se somar na maioria da temporada, cada um fez 30, 30 e poucos jogos, então como pode ser reserva? Tem de ter a cabeça no lugar, focar, temos de estar sempre preparados para sempre ajudar o Palmeiras. O objetivo é ajudar o Palmeiras a ser campeão, não A ou B. É um clube grandioso, que te dá toda a estrutura para exercer o trabalho da melhor forma possível.

Qual a importância de contar com um reforço como Felipe Melo, que agrega não só tecnicamente, mas é outra voz experiente no vestiário?
O Felipe (Melo) chegou para agregar muito ao grupo. Vitorioso, e é sempre bom ter cara assim, porque chama título. É bacana, esperamos começar com o pé direito no Paulista.

It is three months since the Tigers came across one of the most capricious and controversial ‘Gabba pitches in memory. It is three months since they recorded – in the one game, no less – their two lowest totals in domestic first-class competition. It is three months since they were beaten in the fastest time ever taken to complete a match of its kind in Australia, and it is three months since they found themselves at one of the lower ebbs in the state’s cricketing history.Queensland’s ten wicket victory back then went a long way toward sealing its spot in the Final, and it appeared to have gone just as far in ending Tasmania’s summer.But, in the three months since, nothing has proved more fateful than that experience.That it is Queensland and Tasmania that have ultimately emerged as this Australian first-class season’s two best-performing teams, and that the concluding contest of the summer should be staged between them in Brisbane, combines wicked irony with delicious anticipation.It is crunch time in the Australian domestic summer and, whatever course the 2001-02 Pura Cup Final follows, it is impossible for it not to create a delightful new slice of history.Thirteen years have passed since a state last won this competition three times in a row, and the feat has never been achieved by Queensland. With triumphs over Victoria in each of the last two years still fresh in the memory, opportunities to join the ranks of some of the most exalted Australian domestic teams do not come much better than this.For Tasmania, the possibilities are no less exciting. Though the Tigers represent the smallest state in the country, and confront a routine lack of respect from mainlanders every year, they have refused to acquiesce with expectation this season. Moreover, in collecting 26 of a maximum 30 points from their last five outings – the four they surrendered were largely attributable to appalling weather in Melbourne – they have established themselves as the form team of the competition.And, should they reverse that outcome from their Brisbane duel earlier in the summer, it would be among the most amazing results in Tasmanian sporting history. As parties go, the victory celebrations would have few forerunners within their state.The visitors’ task seems simple enough in itself. They merely need to continue riding the wave that has carried them to a stage of the competition that their state has only known twice in its past.Given how well their bowlers are combining, and how effortlessly they seem to be collecting 20 wickets in their matches these days, it does not seem too daunting a requirement. Veteran David Saker and journeyman Shane Jurgensen have been outstanding, aligning movement both ways with metronomic line. Gerard Denton offers another dimension with his extreme pace, filling the void that was left when Shane Watson was called away to international duty in February. And, though injury threatens his participation this week, the fact that Damien Wright’s immaculate line and length is now being paired with sizeable lower order contributions with the bat and accomplished catching in the gully means that his role in Tasmania’s revival has also been central.Strong performances from the top and middle order – traditionally seen as the key to Tasmania’s game – have also been flowing readily after being uncharacteristically absent prior to Christmas.Opening batsman and captain Jamie Cox looks to be back to his best with scores of 174 and 72 in his two most recent matches; former Western Australian Michael Dighton has settled in seamlessly both to his new surroundings and his role at number three; Daniel Marsh provides a cool head and an efficient run scoring presence; and Michael Di Venuto is as eager for anyone for meaningful runs at the end of a troubled season and on the back of two previous experiences in first-class deciders.The spirit and determination embedded in the batting of Scott Mason at the top of the order – not to mention his role as a cheerleader in the field – have also been intangible assets.As have the nerve and skill of wicketkeeper-batsman Sean Clingeleffer at number seven.Yet the Tigers’ assignment over the next five days is likely to be as challenging as any they have encountered.Though five key players are missing (Matthew Hayden, Andy Bichel, Jimmy Maher and Nathan Hauritz to international commitments, and Adam Dale to long-term injury), there remains no state team as professional as Queensland.From Stuart Law’s on-field leadership right through to the off-field administration, few stones are left unturned in Brisbane in the search for optimum results.It is not by way of chance or accident that the Bulls will be appearing in their seventh first-class final in the last decade, nor that they are shooting for a remarkable fifth title in only eight years.This time around, the top six in their batting order has a slightly unstable look to it, with three players of considerable experience aligned with another trio with precious little. Yet, in Martin Love, they have the consummate big occasion player. Rival captain Cox rates him alongside South Australia’s Darren Lehmann as one of the two most dangerous batsmen in the country and it’s difficult to disagree.Injury and form have scuttled the seasons of Law and of Andrew Symonds to an extent but both have sound records against Tasmania. Instructively, Law also has an outstanding record in finals matches, albeit that Victorians might mutter something about the fact that his luck at this time of year may be due to run out.Bichel and Dale may be unavailable but there’s still a lot to like in the Queenslanders’ pace attack as well.It has been three seasons since Michael Kasprowicz was permitted the opportunity to play in such a match, and a further two since he last received first-hand experience of the joy of a title victory. A fine fast bowler even when little is at stake, he looms as one of the key players in this contest.Ashley Noffke needs little introduction at this time of the season either, having gained man of the match honours in a devastating performance in the corresponding game 12 months ago. Joe Dawes is always lionhearted, rarely strays from a line and length, and was the competition’s leading wicket-taker last summer. And, though a surprise inclusion when called up to the side late in the season, young left armer Scott Brant has proved as adept at conquering batsmen as anyone.For all the talk in recent days about the Bulls being understrength in this match, it also shouldn’t be forgotten that Tasmania has been deprived the services of Watson, Ricky Ponting and, potentially, Wright.Conditioned by the knowledge that the sides’ two previous meetings have not even entered a third day, and that both captains have talked up the attacking qualities of their respective line-ups in the hours leading into the match, an engrossing battle can be confidently expected.The closing game of the 100th full season of this competition is approaching and there have been few climaxes more keenly awaited.

وقالت الشبكة في تقريرها إن مانشستر سيتي يُفكر في إمكانية تقديم عرض مادي كبير لـ مبابي من أجل نقله إلى ملعب “الاتحاد”.

وأوضح التقرير أن مانشستر سيتي سينتظر بعد مباراتي نصف نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا، ضد ريال مدريد، ففي حالة التغلب على الملكي، يشعر النادي أن لديه فرصة للتعاقد مع المُهاجم الفرنسي.

مبابي هذا الموسم مع باريس سان جيرمان قدم أداءَ جيدًا، حيث سجل 28 هدفًا وقدم 18 تمريرة حاسمة في 38 مباراة.

O camisa 5 ainda se recupera de uma cirurgia no tornozelo, e o meia contratado da Chapecoense está fazendo fortalecimento muscular.

A princípio, o centroavante colombiano ficaria à disposição desde o início na Libertadores, e entraria no mata-mata do Campeonato Paulista – antes desta fase, os clubes podem fazer quatro alterações na lista. West Ham United could turn their attentions to Axel Tuanzebe this summer…

What’s the word?

That’s according to the reliable ExWHUemployee, who made an intriguing claim during a recent episode of his ‘The West Ham Way’ podcast this week.

ESPN believe the 23-year-old centre-back is set to ask Manchester United for a loan move to ensure he gets regular first-team football next season. Despite being highly rated at Old Trafford, he has found game time hard to come by.

And the London Stadium could be a potential destination, with Irons boss David Moyes said to be eyeing a central defensive addition in this transfer window.

“Speaking of Manchester United, it’s been confirmed that Axel Tuanzebe is available on loan.

“Now I do know that David Moyes likes him, so he could be someone who we potential look to loan with a clause to buy – that’s if we don’t get our other targets.”

The anonymous Ex has previously revealed that the likes of Burnley’s James Tarkowski, Duje Caleta-Car of Marseille and Nikola Maksimovic at Napoli are the main players of interest but they aren’t the only ones keen.

Lingard repeat

This could be an interesting signing to make, especially given the success of Jesse Lingard’s temporary stint in East London.

The 27-year-old attacking midfielder was restricted to only three cup appearances for United before Moyes took a chance on the England outcast in January.

He quickly showed the Premier League and Gareth Southgate exactly what he could do, finishing the campaign with nine goals and five assists, ranking as the Hammers’ second-best player, as per WhoScored ratings.

This success could be very appealing to both Tuanzebe and United as Moyes could get the best out of the young defender before he returns to his parent club to fight for a place.

The 6 foot 1 colossus, valued at just £7.2m by Transfermarkt, won promotion to the Premier League during his last loan spell at Aston Villa but he has been restricted to just 29 appearances in all competitions since then.

In the past, there has been a belief that Tuanzebe could develop into United’s next Rio Ferdinand or Nemanja Vidic, whilst Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has deemed him a “great leader” and a “tremendous defender,” via the club’s official website.

He may not be a signing as exciting as Lingard but Moyes could well repeat his masterstroke call to take the gamble on him by bringing his Old Trafford teammate to the Irons.

With interest mounting in the likes of Tarkowski and Maksimovic, Tuanzebe wouldn’t be a bad alternative option at all.
